Veterans Day 2021 Restaurant Discounts In Charlotte, LKN Area

CHARLOTTE, NC — Veterans Day is November 11 and a day to honor and show a small token of appreciation to those who have served our country. We've compiled a list of some and hopefully most of the places you can go grab a meal that is either giving a discount to our nation's heroes, or something completely free. Thank you for your service!

• Applebees: All active military, veterans, reserves and National Guard can get a complimentary full-size entrée from an exclusive menu Thursday.
• Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar: Vets and active duty military can head to Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar for a classic American meal. Vets enjoy a FREE All-American Burger (with choice of cheese) and basic side (fries, tots, sweet potato fries or chips) — on November 11th, 2021, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• BJ’s Restaurants: Current and former military who dine in Thursday can get a complimentary meal from a select menu and a Dr. Pepper beverage.
• Bob Evans: On Thursday, veterans and active-duty military can choose a free meal from a special menu of seven homestyle favorites.

• Bonefish Grill: Bonefish Grill offers a Heroes Discount of 10% every day. The discount is for all service members, veterans and first responders. More info.
• Buffalo Wild Wings: A free order of 10 boneless wings and fries will be offered to all past and present armed services members on Thursday. The offer is available for dine-in or takeout (online ordering excluded). Proof of service must be shown for redemption.
• Carrabba’s: offering all service members, veterans and first responders 10% off any visit to their local restaurant this Veterans Day on Thursday, November 11 and year-round with valid ID. More info.
• Chicken Salad Chick: On November 11th, 2021, Chicken Salad Chick will offer a free Chick Special and regular drink to veterans and active duty military, who are in uniform or who show military ID. Find a location.
• Chili’s: Veterans and active-duty military can get a free meal from a special menu Thursday.
• Cici’s Pizza: On Thursday, November 11th, 2021, veterans and active duty military personnel get a free buffet. Dine-in only. Drink not included. More details here.
• Denny’s: A complimentary Build Your Own Grand Slam will be offered to all active, inactive and military personnel.
• Dunkin’: All veterans or active duty military personnel can get a free donut Thursday.
• Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers: On Veterans Day, Thursday, November 11, 2021, Veterans and current military personnel will receive a card for a free Freddy’s Original Double combo meal that is valid through November 30th, 2021. No purchase is necessary to receive or redeem the card.
• Golden Corral: On Thursday, November 11th, 2021, from 5 p.m. until close, anyone who has served in the U.S. Military can get a free meal at Golden Corral’s long-standing Military Appreciation Night. Dine-in only.
• Hooters: All veterans who present a military ID or proof of service and purchase a beverage at any participating Hooters location nationwide will receive a free entree from the Hooters Veterans Day menu Thursday.
• IHOP: Veterans and active-duty military can get free Red, White & Blueberry Pancakes at participating locations Thursday.
• Jim ‘n Nick’s: All active and non-active military get an original pork sandwich, fresh cut fries and a drink, for free, on November 11th, 2021. 13840 Steele Creek Road, Charlotte, and 7791 Gateway Lane NW, Concord. More info.
• Krispy Kreme: Veterans can get a free doughnut, any variety, and a small brewed coffee, at Krispy Kreme, on November 11th, 2021. No purchase required. Must show ID. One per guest.
• Little Caesar’s: A free lunch combo for veterans and active military will be offered from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday.
• McCormick & Schmick’s: Veterans of the U.S. Military and National Guard, Gold Star Parents and Gold Star Spouses can enjoy a half priced entrée on Sunday, November 7th, 2021. Two locations in Charlotte. More info.
• McDonald’s: Participating McDonald’s restaurants across Ohio will offer free meals to all veterans on Nov. 11, with valid ID. Each meal will feature a choice of sandwiches, drinks, and a side. McDonald’s restaurants will also be giving all customers American Flag window decals to honor the veteran community.
• Metro Diner: Metro Diner is offering 50% off to active and retired military with valid military ID on Veterans Day, Thursday, November 11th, and 10% off year round. More info.
• O’Charley’s: Veterans and active duty personnel will receive a free entrée on Veterans Day, November 11th Choose from O’Charley’s Famous Chicken Tenders & Fries, Classic Cheeseburger, Honey-Drizzled Southern-Fried Chicken Peach Chutney Chicken, Chicken Alfredo and Southern Fried Chicken Tender Salad. • On The Border: Veterans can get a FREE Pick 2 Combo Meal on November 11th, 2021, at On The Border.
• Sheetz: All veterans and active-duty military personnel can enjoy a free half turkey or ham sub and a regular-size fountain drink Thursday at any of Sheetz’s 635 store locations. Sheetz will also provide a free car wash to veterans and active-duty military. Military ID or proof of service must be presented to qualify.
• Smashburger: Vets can take a bite of one of America’s all-time favorite foods at Smashburger on November 11th, 2021. The burger joint is serving them a FREE Single Classic Burger on Nov. 11.
• Starbucks: Starbucks will offer a free tall (12-ounce) hot brewed coffee Thursday for veterans, military service members and military spouses at participating U.S. stores. 
• Wendy’s: Those who have served or are currently serving in the U.S. military can get a free breakfast combo offer with valid military ID or a Veterans Advantage card Thursday.
