Intermittent 911 Outage Reported In Charlotte Metro

CHARLOTTE, NC — Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department reported problems with its emergency 9-1-1 line Thursday morning.

"CMPD Emergency 911 is experiencing intermittent technical issues," it said shortly before 11 a.m.

Huntersville Police Department said the issue may also affect some Huntersville residents as well.

CMPD said anyone in need of emergency services and who has trouble reaching 9-1-1 should call 704-336-7911 or 704-336-3237.
