Man Crushed To Death Under 18-Wheeler
A man was fatally injured when a driver was unaware he was underneath a trailer.
CHARLOTTE, NC — A man was crushed to death underneath an 18-wheeler in a Charlotte parking lot on Atando Avenue on Friday.
The victim was identified as 45-year-old Jose Guerra-Mejia who was removing a security device from under a trailer when he was fatally injured, according to WCCB.
The driver did not know the victim was underneath the trailer after he detached his own trailer and went to the other side of the business to get another trailer.

No charges have been filed, but any witnesses could help with the investigation.
