Man Shot To Death In Hillgrove Lane Apartment Complex
A man was shot and killed in an apartment complex Saturday in the Steel Creek division, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police.
CHARLOTTE, NC — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is investigating a homicide at the 10000 block of Hillgrove Lane in the Steele Creek area.
Officers claim shots were fired around 3:30 a.m. Saturday morning and police responded to Hillgrove Lane where they discovered shell casings in a parking lot. Inside a nearby apartment, a man was suffering from life-threatening injuries. He was pronounced dead shortly thereafter by Mecklenburg County paramedics.
Police have not identified the man yet and are asking the public for any information they may have in the case.
