I-77 South toll road foes rally behind history of racial bias (thecharlottepost.com) — Charlotte residents along I-77 South are pushing back against a proposed expansion that would add privately operated toll lanes from Center City to the South Carolina line, arguing it repeats a history of highways cutting through Black neighborhoods.
