'Security Incident' On JetBlue Flight At Charlotte Airport
The incident on a JetBlue flight traveling from Charlotte to New York has been cleared.
CHARLOTTE, NC — A "security incident" on board an airplane at Charlotte Douglas International Airport has been cleared, an airport spokesperson said.
The airport spokesperson said all of the airport's partners worked together to clear the incident.
The aircraft was a JetBlue flight scheduled to depart for New York on Sunday.

A JetBlue spokesperson said the flight was delayed for additional security screenings out of an abundance of caution.
"Local law enforcement is on site and we are working to get customers on their way to New York as soon as possible," the spokesperson said in an emailed statement.

In a statement to WSOC-TV, the FBI said passengers were taken off the plane and rescreened out of an abundance of caution. The flight was thoroughly searched and at this time, there are no indications of a threat to public safety.
