CHARLOTTE, NC — President Donald Trump is expected to deliver an in-person address to delegates attending the Republican National Convention in Charlotte Monday. According to reports, Trump is expected to arrive in uptown Charlotte around noon.
The scaled-down Republican National Convention kicked off Friday in uptown Charlotte, marking the largest sanctioned event in the state since the pandemic began. The Charlotte portion of the four-day RNC event included 336 delegates and was to wrap up the North Carolina leg Monday following the renomination of Trump
Trump is expected to deliver a speech before delegates following the renomination, according to the Charlotte Observer. The RNC event, along with the renomination, may be viewed by livestream (details below).

In addition to his appearance at the RNC, Trump is also expected to speak at a Farmers to Families Food Box Program event in Mills River, North Carolina. That event is slated to begin at 1:30 p.m., according to the White House.
