'I'm going to kill you': Greenville man charged with restraining, choking, punching ex-girlfriend (witn.com) — Greenville police have arrested a 22-year-old man after court documents say he restrained and assaulted his ex-girlfriend at a local apartment complex and in a car. Warrants describe threats to kill, punching that caused visible injuries, and choking that affected her breathing; he now faces multiple charges and a $40,000 bond.

Greenville man charged with multiple offenses after high-speed chase and property damage (wcti12.com) — A 37-year-old Greenville resident faces multiple charges after police say he led officers on a high-speed pursuit through parts of Pitt County, damaging property and driving through a school zone. He remains in the Pitt County Jail without bond and is scheduled for a first court appearance on December 26.

Thanks to her microchip and the Bertie County Humane Society, Jinx is back home for the holidays, bringing special joy to her young owner Evan and his family.

Ilhan Omar first erupted. Omar is now criticizing Trump’s renewed focus on her at a Pennsylvania “affordability” rally, where he again linked immigration, Somali refugees, and economic concerns in sharply personal terms.
