23-Year-Old Shot Multiple Times, Crashes Car Into Semi-Truck

When EMS pulled the 23-year-old out of the crashed car, they realized he had been shot multiple times, police said.

CLEVELAND — A 23-year-old man was shot to death in Cleveland on Friday afternoon, police announced.

At 2:35 p.m., a car crashed into a semi-truck on E. 152nd Street. When EMS got to the driver, they realized he had been shot multiple times before the accident, police said.

The 23-year-old was rushed to University Hospitals, where he was later pronounced dead.

Investigators believe the 23-year-old had been parked on Huntmere Avenue prior to the shooting. Two unidentified men approached his car and began shooting at him.

The shooters ran off and the 23-year-old tried to drive away, eventually crashing his car into a semi-truc.

A person of interest has not yet been identified in this shooting, police said. Officers are still investigating the killing.
