66-Year-Old Man Killed Trying To Cross Street In Cleveland
The man did not check to see if there was traffic coming and was hit and killed by an oncoming car, police said.
CLEVELAND — A 66-year-old man was killed while trying to cross the street in Cleveland, police announced.
On Tuesday night, the 66-year-old was walking south on Kinsman Road when he crossed the street to try and board a stopped RTA bus. After the bus driver turned him away, the man tried to cross the street again but did not check to see if traffic was approaching.
The 66-year-old was then hit by a KIA Forte. EMS rushed the man to MetroHealth Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead, police said.

The driver of the Forte stopped after the accident and has been cooperating with police, a department spokesperson told Patch.
