Avoid Swimming In Lake Erie Waters: National Weather Service
There is a high chance of rip currents developing between Thursday and Friday afternoon in the waters of Lake Erie.

CLEVELAND — Swimmers should avoid entering the waters of Lake Erie between Thursday and Friday afternoon, the National Weather Service said.
A beach hazards statement was issued for Cuyahoga, Lake, Lorain and Ashtabula counties and is in effect from Thursday until Friday afternoon. There is a "high chance" of rip currents developing in the lake.
"Wind and wave action will cause currents on the lakeshore. Swimmers should not enter the water. Currents can carry swimmers away from shore through a sand bar and along structures extending out into the lake," the agency said.
