Cincinnati Businessman Withdraws Reward Offer for Piketon, Ohio Murders

Jeff Ruby, a Cincinnati area restaurateur has decided to withdraw his $25,000 reward offer due to "recent complex criminal developments."

Cincinnati area restaurateur, Jeff Ruby announced via Twitter on Thursday that he is withdrawing his $25,000 reward offer and involvement from the Piketon, Ohio murder case. Eight people were shot execution style in their homes in Piketon, Ohio last Friday, police have not yet made any arrests or confirmed a motive.

The only reason Ruby offered for the withdrawal was due to "recent complex criminal developments," he told the Cincinnati Enquirer that his advisers instructed him to not discuss his decision publicly.
