Dead Body Found In Burning Car In Cleveland
When firefighters extinguished the flames shooting from a car, they found a dead body inside.
CLEVELAND — A body was found inside a burning car in Cleveland on Saturday, police announced.
At 9 a.m., 911 callers reported seeing a car on fire near Train and Vega avenues. When police arrived, firefighters were already on scene, extinguishing the flames.
When the fire was put out, police discovered the body inside the vehicle. Members of the Cleveland police homicide unit were asked to join the investigation.

The body was removed from the car and is now in the possession of the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's office. The body was badly burned, police said, and has not yet been identified.
A person of interest has not yet been identified in the case, police said. The investigation into the death is ongoing.
