Drive-By Shooting Kills 25-Year-Old In Cleveland
Multiple shots were fired out of a moving car, causing the death of a 25-year-old on Thursday night.
CLEVELAND — Demetrius Compton, 25, was shot multiple times and killed in a drive-by on Thursday night in Cleveland, police announced.
At 10:35 p.m., gunshots were heard near E. 153rd and Bartlett Avenue. When officers arrived, they found the 25-year-old on the back porch of a house on Bartlett. He had been shot multiple times in the body.
EMS rushed Compton to University Hospitals, where he was later pronounced dead. The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's office identified him on Friday morning.

Police believe Compton was walking down Bartlett when a car drove towards him. Someone fired their gun at Compton as the car rode by.
A person of interest has not yet been identified, a Cleveland police spokesperson said. The investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
