First Ever Public Square Ice Carving Social Comes to Cleveland
The Ice Carving Social is a free event that will feature interactive ice creations, stunning ice displays, an ice throne and more.

From Public Square: The cold doesn’t bother Clevelanders! Face the frost at the first ever Public Square Ice Carving Social, a family-friendly winter event Sunday, January, 29th from 2pm – 6pm.
Ice Carving Social is a FREE event that will feature interactive ice creations, stunning ice displays, an ice throne (photo op!), ice games, a speed carving demonstration and an incredible, large-scale fire and ice tower. The ice carving display will be led by locally owned Elegant Ice Creations.
Looking to get active to stay warm? Bring a sled and ride down the Gund Foundation Green, ice skate on the Cleveland Foundation Skating Rink, open until 8pm, or walk a lap around the Key Bank Promenade to view the beautiful ice sculptures. Socialize with friends new and old around the warmth of fire pits.

Those less excited about the chill and more into the thrill will enjoy a spectacular, one-of-a-kind fire performance by the Ohio Burn Unit beginning at 4:30 p.m.
Kids can grab a hot chocolate, and adults can warm up with a special signature beverage available for purchase from Rebol.

- Speed Carving Competition: Three rounds happening at 3:00 PM, 3:30 PM, 4:00 PM
- Ice Carving Demonstrations: 2:00 PM, 2:30 PM, 5:00 PM
- Ice Throne Photo-Op on the Cleveland Foundation Plaza from 2:00 PM-6:00 PM
- Ice Games near the Gund Foundation Green from 2:00 PM-6:00 PM
- Fire and Ice Tower – Lit at 5:30pm
