CLEVELAND — A flood advisory has been issued for parts of Cuyahoga County on Sunday.

Doppler radar indicates that heavy rain and thunderstorms will hit the area between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain will fall, the National Weather Service said.

"Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles," the agency said.

The following locations could experience flooding this afternoon: Cleveland, Parma, Lakewood, Strongsville, Westlake, North Royalton, Garfield Heights, Maple Heights, Parma Heights, Rocky River, Broadview Heights, Brook Park, Berea, Fairview Park, Middleburg Heights, Bay Village, Brecksville, Bedford, Seven Hills and Brooklyn.
