Hard Rock Cafe Cleveland to Close in July

The Hard Rock Cafe Cleveland, located in the Tower City Center will be closing in July. Will they leave the giant guitar behind?

Hard Rock Cafe International, Inc. issued a statement today announcing that the Hard Rock Cafe located in the Tower City Center will be shutting its doors for good sometime in July, the month of the Republican National Convention.

The Hard Rock opened at the 230 West Huron Road location in 1998 and the iconic Hard Rock Cafe logo-emblazoned guitar has stood watch over Tower City since then.

Corporate calls the closure a "strategic decision" which will allow them to put all of their energy into the new Northfield Park Hard Rock Cafe and Rocksino.
