Man Wanted for Murder of Cleveland 3-Year-Old Captured in Atlanta

The man wanted in the murder of 3-year-old Major Howard was arrested Tuesday in the greater Atlanta area.

Donnell Lindsey has been one of Cleveland's most wanted fugitives since fall of 2015.

Deputy marshals received a tip on Lindsey Monday night and sent the information to the Fugitive Task Force in Georgia. Authorities then raided a home in Smyrna early Tuesday morning, a suburb near Atlanta where they arrested Lindsey, reports Cleveland.com.

Cleveland police have been looking for Lindsey since last September when they obtained a warrant charging him with aggravated murder of 3-year-old Major Howard.

"I can't tell you how hard our men and women worked on this," said U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott.
