WATCH: Serial Killer Attacked by Distraught Dad

"I guess we are supposed to find it in our hearts to forgive this clown... who has taken my child," said Van Terry at sentencing.

CLEVELAND — Michael Madison was sentenced to death row on Thursday and will most likely spend spend years in prison before the death sentence is enforced.

Just after Madison had been sentenced to death, family members of victims had an opportunity to speak to him. When Van Terry, father of Shirellda Terry got his turn, he said,

"I guess we are supposed to find it in our hearts to forgive this clown... who has taken my child."

Then Terry spun around and jumped on Madison (see video from Fox8 Cleveland above). Terry was removed from the courtroom.

Madison was found guilty of killing 38-year-old Angela Deskins, 28-year-old Shetisha Sheeley and 18-year-old Shirellda Terry.

Cuyahoga Common Pleas Judge Nancy R. McDonnell followed the jury's recommendation and sentenced Madison to death on charges of aggravated murder and kidnapping.

Madison could appeal the sentence to the Ohio Supreme Court.
