Missing 23-year-old Brandi Shakir Found 'Alive and Healthy'

Brandi Shakir found alive in Erie, PA after an attempted home break-in gone bad which resulted in a shooting.

Brandi Shakir, 23, was found with her suspected abductor, boyfriend Kyle Johnson, 25, after an attempted home break-in gone bad in the quiet Frontier Park neighborhood of Erie, Pennsylvania. YourErie.com reports that Johnson attempted to break in to a home on Crescent Drive when he was met by an armed homeowner. Johnson sustained gunshot wounds to his leg and abdomen. Two others were also shot in the incident. Johnson is in stable condition at UPMC Hamot.

Shakir was reported missing on Monday and newsnet5 Cleveland reports that she had a temporary protection order against Johnson for a beating he gave her where she suffered two black eyes and a broken eye socket. Johnson also had a warrant out for felonious assault.

Cleveland police speculated that Johnson and Shakir left Cleveland for Erie this morning.
