Police Ask for Help: New Evidence Links Unsolved Child Abduction Case to Attempted Abduction in Elyria

Cleveland Police ask for your help: New evidence links the Nevaeh Wylie abduction to an attempted abduction in Elyria. Reward now $20,000.

Cleveland Police, Elyria Police, and the FBI announced in a press conference that a connection has been made through forensic evidence with the suspect wanted for the May 21st abduction of Nevaeh Wylie and an attempted child abduction in Elyria on February 25th.

The investigation is no longer isolated to Cleveland and has now expanded to Elyria and perhaps other communities. Please review this list of detailed information about Nevaeh Wylie's abductor and contact the Cleveland Police if you notice anything.

The reward for information leading to an arrest has been doubled to $20,000. Police are urging that anyone with any information call the tip line at 216-622-6842.

Cleveland Police and the FBI have released additional surveillance photos and a video of a person of interest possibly involved in the May 21st abduction of 6 year-old Nevaeh Wylie.

The brave little girl is now safe at home, however, her abductor is still at large. Cleveland Police were able to compile a list of detailed information about her abductor and the house that she was held captive in through interviewing the little girl. That list can be viewed here.

The video below depicts a person of interest walking down West 105th Place on May 14, 2016 around 2 a.m. Pay careful attention to the appearance of the individual in the video, the clothing he is wearing and his gait.

One of the photos is of the same person of interest and the other photo is of a suspected vehicle, both photos were taken in the West 105th Place area one week prior to the abduction.
