Thunderstorms Likely This Weekend In Northeast Ohio: Forecast
Temperatures will climb into the mid-80s again, but the change in temperature will bring more storms to the area.
CLEVELAND — Thunderstorms are likely this weekend in Northeast Ohio.
While Friday should remain mostly sunny and dry, showers could start Saturday morning and continue through the weekend, the National Weather Service warned. There is currently a 30 percent chance of thunderstorms on Saturday and a 50 percent chance of thunderstorms on Sunday.
The best chance for severe thunderstorms to develop is on Sunday, the National Weather Service said. There is a marginal risk of severe storms on Saturday as well.

Even if thunderstorms don't develop, rain is still likely to fall throughout Saturday and Sunday. There's a 60-percent chance of showers on both Saturday and Sunday, the National Weather Service said.
"In addition, hot and humid conditions are expected on Sunday and heat index values will reach the mid to upper 90s across Northwest Ohio," the agency said in a hazardous weather outlook statement.

Here's a day-by-day forecast for the region:
Friday — Partly sunny during the day, with a high near 80 degrees. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms near midnight, overnight low of 66 degrees.
Saturday — A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 4 p.m. Mostly cloudy throughout the day, with a high of 84. Showers and thunderstorms likely overnight, with a low of 71 degrees.
Sunday — Showers and thunderstorms likely before 8 a.m. After the inclement weather, the day should be mostly sunny, with a high of 85. Another small chance for showers overnight, with a low of 69 expected.
