TONIGHT: 'Ride of Silence' Remembers Cyclists Killed While Riding
Join cyclists across Greater Cleveland for the most important ride of the year.
Thousands of cyclists nationwide will gear up to speak a very powerful message without saying a word as they participate in the North America Ride of Silence on Wednesday, May 18, 2016.
Cyclists will take to the roads in a silent funeral procession to honor cyclists who have been killed or injured while cycling on public roadways. Cleveland cyclists will join others across the globe in a silent slow-paced ride in honor of those who have been injured or killed while riding a bicycle on our public roadways.
Like in past years Cleveland's Ride of Silence will have two start points:

The Ride Of Silence is a free ride that asks cyclists to ride no faster than 12 mph and remain silent during the ride. There are no brochures, no sponsors and no registration fees. The ride aims to raise the awareness of motorists, police officers and city officials that cyclists have a legal right to the public roadways. The ride is also a chance to show respect for those who have been killed or injured.
