Update: Body Found at Edgewater Park Identified
The body that washed ashore at Edgewater Park has been identified, the man has been missing for months.
The body that washed ashore on the beach at Edgewater Park has been identified reports Cleveland.com.
The medical examiner has identified the body as Lawrence Thomas, 55 of Cleveland. Chief Cleveland MetroParks ranger, Dan Veloski, told Cleveland.com that Thomas was found at around 8:50 Thursday morning by a couple walking on the beach.
Thomas' family reported him missing on January 26th. His family said that they reported him missing after he had not been home and had missed work for over a week Cleveland police Sgt. Jennifer Ciaccia told Cleveland.com.

Cause of death has not been reported.
