West Side Traffic Alert: W 150th Street Construction Begins This Week
Construction work for the W. 150th Street Rehabilitation Project will begin on Tuesday. Plan for single-lane traffic and detours.

Heads up, westside motorists! Another road construction project is beginning this week.
ODOT is starting construction to rehabilitate W. 150th Street on May 24.
Beginning Tuesday, only northbound traffic will be permitted on W. 150th between Industrial Parkway and Puritas Avenue. Southbound W. 150th Street traffic will be detoured to Puritas Avenue westbound, then to Rocky River Drive southbound, then to Brookpark Road eastbound. This closing will continue until July 9.

This project includes repairing and replacing damaged roadway pavement, curbs, sidewalks, and driveway aprons on W. 150th Street for a distance of nearly 2 miles, from Lorain Road to Industrial Parkway. New ADA-compliant curb ramps will be constructed at all intersections, and new traffic signs and pavement markings will be installed. The project is scheduled for completion by October 14, 2016.
