Drunken Driver Parks in Tree Lawn, Takes Off Clothes

A concerned citizen called and said a man wearing one ankle sock and nothing else was rolling around in the grass on the 2600 block of Noble Road.

The call came in at 11:18 p.m. July 22, and the caller reported that he was rolling toward the curb. When police arrived, the man's car was parked in a tree lawn nearby but still running, and he was naked and sweating profusely. Police arrested the 32-year-old man from University Heights and charged him with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (OVI.)
