Drive-By Shooting Wounds Woman Inside Cleveland Heights Home
The woman was rushed to a nearby hospital but is now in stable condition, according to police.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — A drive-by shooting wounded a woman laying in her bed at her Cleveland Heights home on Wednesday evening.
At 6 p.m., two shots were fired at a home in the 900 block of Yellowstone Road, Police Chief Annette Mecklenburg said. One of the bullets hit a woman in the leg while she was laying in the upstairs bedroom, police added.
When officers arrived, they gave the woman first aid until paramedics arrived. She was then taken to a hospital and is now in stable condition, police said.

Investigators believe the gunshots came from a a person inside a silver or white sedan that was seen going north on Yellowstone Road. Police do not have any suspects in the shooting.
