Dayton Public Schools: Hidden Hero Spotlight | SheToria Combs

This week we are spotlighting SheToria Combs, a School Bus Driver for DPS!

SheToria has been with the district for six years. Her day-to-day responsibilities include providing students with transportation to and from school, among many other things.

The most rewarding part of her job is providing safe and reliable transportation.

“I am motivated to do my best because my position plays a vital role in my community,” she said. “Seeing the relief and appreciation from my students and their parents is a constant reminder of why I love my work.”

SheToria said the best part about working for the district is the camaraderie of her teammates in Transportation, along with interacting with students each day. She said although being a bus driver requires a lot of patience at times, seeing the appreciation from those she serves brings her joy.

SheToria added that she would like to thank DPS for the continued opportunity to serve, and the outstanding employees she works with each day.
