This week we are spotlighting Teresa Richardson, School Secretary for Ruskin Elementary!

Ms. Richardson has been with the district for one year. Her day-to-day responsibilities include a variety of tasks. In addition to secretarial duties, she sees her main role as brightening the day of those around her.

The most rewarding part of her job is making a positive impact on people’s lives. She said the best part about working for the district is the professionalism of her co-workers.

“I truly feel blessed to be here at Ruskin Elementary School,” she said. “We have such a passionate, caring team looking to mold the lives of our 533 youth.”

Ms. Richardson was nominated by two people. They said she is a joy to have in the front office, greets everyone with a smile, and handles emergencies and stressful situations with grace.

“She makes the best first impression on anyone entering the building,” one nominator said. “The students love her and find reasons to come to the office.”
