- Several individuals were hospitalized following a two-vehicle accident on Ohio 7, which resulted in the closure of the road for approximately 30 minutes on Tuesday. The collision occurred when a red Dodge Caravan attempted to make a left turn and collided head-on with a southbound black GMC Acadia. One passenger, Betty Stimpert, 76, was ejected from the Caravan and is in critical condition, while others sustained minor injuries. The 17-year-old driver of the Caravan received a citation for failing to yield. (Marietta Times)
- Marietta Main Street is aiming to make Second Sunday on Jun. 11 more accessible for everyone, including seniors. The event will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and this year, Marietta Main Street is making it easier to travel downtown for seniors. Wheelchair-accessible shuttle loops will be at multiple locations to get on and off at each stop with ease. (WTAP)
- "The Play That Goes Wrong" will be performed at the nearby Actors Guild of Parkersburg in West Virginia starting on Jun. 16. The play is a hilarious comedy filled with mishaps and absurdities. Director Josh Martin, inspired by the show's success in New York, has assembled a talented cast and crew to bring the British-style humor and intricate set design to life on the local stage.
