- The Bowling Green State University Police Department has charged Memphis basketball player Jamirah Shutes with assault after a BGSU vs. Memphis women's basketball game on Thursday. Video shows the Shutes punch BGSU player Elissa Brett during the postgame handshake. The Falcons' victory means they will progress to the final 8 of the WNIT tournament. (WTOL)
- The Lucas County Board of Developmental Disabilities hosted a training for law enforcement called "Encounters with People with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities" on Thursday. Led by trainer and law enforcement specialist Diane Dudziak, local authorities were educated on how to respond to situations appropriately to avoid miscommunications. (WTVG)
- A shooting victim has been hospitalized after a reported altercation at a home in the 600 block of Reinick Drive near Consaul Street in East Toledo early Friday morning. TPD responded to the scene around 5:40 AM and the suspected shooter has not been apprehended. (WTOL)
- The fifth annual 'Our Time to Break Silence' will be held March 25 at the Monroe Street Church on 3613 Monroe St. at 2:30 PM. The event hosts Toledo youth sharing "spoken word poetry, songs and visual art on this year's theme, Youth Breaking Silence." (WTVG)
