Here are the top three stories in Toledo today:

  1. Waite High School, Garfield Elementary School, and Toledo Preparatory Academy were placed on lockdown Wednesday after reports of a man with a gun in the East Toledo area surfaced. The suspect was seen waiving a gun at the intersection of Kelsey and E. Broadway around 2:00 p.m. Police arrested the suspect, Alfred Cotton, 37, about a quarter of a mile away from the intersection where reports surfaced. (WTOL)
  2. A driver crashed into a duplex on the 100 block of West Bancroft around 3:00 a.m. yesterday. Toledo Police say the female driver lost control of the vehicle and struck the home – but did not enter the walls of the building. The driver was taken to the hospital and no one inside the duplex was injured. (WTOL)
  3. The Toledo Police Department is still looking for information about the murders of two teen football players. Marvelous Walton played for St. Francis High School and Neiko McIntyre played for Whitmer High School when they were shot in Toledo. Lt. Paul Davis said, "Detectives do have some video footage involving the incident. We are not ready to release that at this time.”(WTVG)
