Here are the top three stories today in Toledo:
- A home on Page Street is affecting neighbors as sink holes continue to grow around the home's foundation. Becky Smith, the neighbor next to the home, said, "I have five kids and they can’t play in the yard half the time because they’re [rats] running around the yard." The City of Toledo’s Code Enforcement Department said the home is a candidate for demolition. (WTVG)
- A U.S. Postal worker was delivering mail near Mulberry and East Pearl Streets around 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday when she was held up by someone with a gun. The man demanded an "arrow key" and showed her a gun in his waistband. The postal worker screamed and the suspect ran down a nearby alley. (WTOL)
- A 16-year-old was shot early yesterday morning in what police say is an ongoing investigation. Officials responded to 1400 block of N. Huron Street where the teen was suffering from one gunshot wound with a bullet casing on scene. The victim was taken to the hospital. (WTVG)
