New Culinary Destination Coming to Downtown Toledo this January

Assembly American Brasserie is set to open its doors this January, bringing a fresh vibe to Downtown Toledo's dining scene. Occupying the space that once housed Napa Kitchen & Bar at 101 N Summit St), Assembly promises an experience that marries the heart of Midwest hospitality with the refined simplicity of a Brasserie-inspired menu.

The new eatery will boast an industrial chic design that will give a nod to the idea of building or creating something that fits together to create a hub for locals and visitors alike. Assembly will not just be a place to eat; it will be a place where food, culture, and community converge, offering a casual and approachable setting that reflects the warmth of the Midwestern spirit.

The menu will spotlight an eclectic array of brasserie-style fare, crafted with the finest local ingredients, and featuring starters such as mussels, pork belly, a bistro beet salad, and butternut caramelized onion soup. Mains will include a 12-hour brined split chicken, steak frites, and a vegan-friendly cauliflower mushroom bolognese. The sides are just as tempting, with crispy smashed fingerling potatoes and charred green beans. The handhelds section will offer a range of sandwiches available for lunch and throughout the day. Assembly will also cater to the sweet tooth with desserts like s'mores, seasonal cobbler, buckeye whoopie pie, and strawberry shortcake. The beverage program will be equally robust, featuring a strong draft beer selection, a carafe-focused wine program, classic and innovative cocktails, as well as zero-proof options and craft sodas for a well-rounded dining experience.

With seating for 120 in the main dining room, a 16-seat private dining room, and a 45-seat semi-private dining area, Assembly can accommodate various dining experiences, from intimate gatherings to larger groups. It will serve lunch and dinner throughout the week, with a special brunch menu for weekend diners.
