• Public Library, St. Vincent de Paul seek food pantry donations (metromonthly.net) — Youngstown’s public library system is teaming up with St. Vincent de Paul to collect non-perishable food at every branch, with donations going directly to local dining hall and pantry programs. Residents can drop off items at any PLYMC location or at the Via Mount Carmel pantry in Youngstown, helping support families across the Mahoning Valley during a challenging time.
   

• Campbell schools receive $200K grant toward dental, health care students (wfmj.com) — Campbell City Schools just secured a $200,000 Delta Dental Foundation grant to help launch the Mahoning Valley Wellness and Rehabilitation Center, a new dental and health training hub tied to Youngstown State University and NEOMED. Starting in 2026, local high schoolers and adult learners will gain hands-on training while area residents, including people with disabilities, receive expanded oral health care.
   

• YSU Website Redesign Recognized with Award (businessjournaldaily.com) — Youngstown State University’s redesigned website has earned a Silver Award in a national Education Digital Marketing competition, spotlighting the university’s online presence in Youngstown. The April relaunch focused on faster performance, cleaner design, better navigation, and accessibility so students, staff, alumni, and community members can more easily find what they need.
