$2,500 Reward Offered In Portland Murder Investigation
Andrew Hathaway was found in the trunk of his burning car in early September. He reportedly died from homicidal violence.

PORTLAND, OR — The Portland Police Bureau has reissued a request for information related to the apparent murder of Andrew Patrick Hathaway, the 28-year-old Milwaukie man who was found in the trunk of his burning car in early September. In partnership with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, Portland police are offering up to $2,500 for information that leads to an arrest in this case.
Police were dispatched to the 6200-block of North Marine Drive around 1 a.m. Sept. 5, after Portland Fire & Rescue crews found Hathaway's body among the charred remains of his white 2003 Chevrolet Impala. Upon further investigation, police learned Hathaway had died as a result of homicidal violence; according to a GoFundMe campaign reportedly raising money to help Hathaway's mother "find justice," Hathaway had been stabbed multiple times prior to being put in the trunk.
Hathaway's personal history appears dotted with his own run-ins with police in Yamhill, Clackamas, Multnomah, and Marion counties, but nothing has apparently helped police develop any suspect information at this time.
