2 Injured In Apparently Random Shooting: Police
Two men and an apartment were shot early Tuesday on the Eastside of Interstate-205, south of Hazelwood in Portland.

PORTLAND, OR — Two men and an apartment were struck by gunfire late Monday/early Tuesday in Southeast Portland, near the Ash Street Courtyard apartments, according to the Portland Police Bureau.
East Precinct officers were dispatched to several reports of gunfire just before 12:15 a.m. June 5 in the 12000-block of Southeast Ash Street, near the Hazelwood neighborhood. Callers reportedly told dispatchers that two people were possibly injured.
Officers found both victims separate from each other, with one in an apartment near the shooting area.

Officers also located an apartment that was hit directly by gunfire, though no residents inside were harmed.
Both the injured men sustained serious but non-life-threatening gunshot wounds, officials said.

Police believe the men were standing on the sidewalk along Southeast Ash Street when a complete stranger approached them and opened fire. No suspects have been located.
The Bureau's Gang Enforcement Team is reportedly investigating further.
