PORTLAND, OR — Police on Thursday arrested two men accused of robbing Rounder's Bar late Wednesday night.
Sergio Nathaniel Hill, 24, and Eric Ramone Metcalfe, 45, were taken to the Multnomah County Jail on two counts of robbery each. Both men are being held on $500,000 bail apiece.
East Precinct officers were dispatched to Rounder's Bar following a reported armed robbery just before 11:30 p.m. Feb. 21 at 11416 N.E. Halsey St.

Rounder's employees told investigators that one man — later identified as Hill — entered the bar armed with a handgun. Hill demanded money, obtained an undisclosed amount of cash, and left without further incident, police said.
Hill then reportedly jumped into a waiting vehicle driven by Metcalfe, who proceeded to facilitate the pair's escape.

Other responding officers pulled the vehicle over when they spotted it leaving the area.
Suspecting the men of being involved in the robbery, police detained them both and searched the car. During the subsequent investigation, evidence of the robbery was found not only in the car but also at a residence in the area, police said.
Both Hill and Metcalfe were then formally arrested and charged. They will be arraigned in a Multnomah County court Friday.
