2 Men Arrested; Golden Gun Seized By Police
Olavi Elijas Nauha and Ronnie Bernard Davis, Jr. were reportedly seen holding the gun on a street corner after 911 callers heard gunfire.

PORTLAND, OR — Two men were arrested in Southeast Portland Tuesday after witnesses reported the pair were firing a handgun in the Brentwood-Darlington neighborhood. No injuries were reported.
Olavi Elijas Nauha, 23, and Ronnie Bernard Davis, Jr., 24, were taken to Multnomah County Jail on several charges: Nauha is charged with theft, unlawful possession of a firearm, and possession of a loaded firearm; Davis is charged with carrying a concealed weapon, felon in possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of a firearm, and theft.

East Precinct officers were dispatched just before 1 a.m. April 10 to Southeast 78th Avenue and Southeast Flavel Street following reports of gunfire in the area.

The 911 caller was able to describe the two men seen holding the gun on the street corner, police said.
Though Nauha and Davis had moved on by the time police arrived, the men were spotted just a block away near Southeast 82nd Avenue and Southeast Henderson Street and taken into custody without incident.

The firearm police recovered was reportedly stolen.

Nauha has no criminal history of note in Oregon; Davis, on the other hand, has had his share of run-ins with the law.
Davis was reportedly arrested four times between 2013 and 2014, with charges including theft, robbery, assault, and possession of heroin.
