3 Suspects Hold Up Tavern In SE Portland Early Friday: Police

Three masked suspects armed with guns and a taser robbed the Lay Low Tavern around last call early Friday.

PORTLAND, OR — Three masked individuals armed with guns and a taser allegedly held up the Lay Low Tavern in Southeast Portland just around closing time early Friday. No injuries were reported, and no suspect information is available at this time.

According to Portland police officials, the three suspects entered the tavern at 6015 S.E. Powell Blvd. before 2:30 a.m. Oct. 19 and ordered the bar's patrons to get on the floor. Two of the suspects reportedly held guns while the other held a taser.

The suspects collected an undisclosed amount of cash and fled without further incident, officials said.

Officers responding to the robbery around 2:35 a.m. searched but could not locate anyone matching the suspects' descriptions.
