Armed Robbery At Plaid Pantry In SE Portland Tuesday

Police are actively searching for two suspects involved in the early morning armed robbery.

PORTLAND, OR — Police are seeking information related to an armed robbery at a Southeast Portland Plaid Pantry Tuesday morning, reportedly perpetrated by two suspects.

Portland Police Bureau East Precinct officers were dispatched just before 2 a.m. April 10 to a reported robbery at 16226 S.E. Division St.

Witnesses at the Plaid Pantry told officers two men came into the store and demanded money; one of the men held a handgun.

Taking an undisclosed amount of cash, they left the store without additional incident.

The suspects are described as black men in their 20s. The man who allegedly held the gun is said to be roughly 5-foot-9 with a thin build. The other man is reportedly 5-foot-8, also with a thin build.

Police are also investigating a similar robbery involving two men and one handgun that was reported just before 5 a.m. Tuesday roughly two miles to the west, at a Subway shop located at 2411 S.E. 122nd Ave.

Police have not said whether the robberies were perpetrated by the same individuals.
