Armed Robbery Suspect Escapes Police
Portland police continue to search for the man accused of robbing a southeast Portland Mobil gas station Sunday night.

PORTLAND, OR — Police are searching for an armed robbery suspect who allegedly held up a Southeast Portland gas station Sunday night. Anyone who recognizes the suspect is asked to call Portland police.
Portland Police Bureau Central Precinct officers were dispatched just after 8 p.m. Sept. 16 to the Mobil Gas Station at 5124 S.E. 17th Ave. According to witnesses, a man wearing a mask entered the station while holding a firearm and demanded money. Taking an undisclosed amount of cash, the robber fled in a white sedan last seen heading south on Southeast McLoughlin Boulevard.
No injuries were reported.

The suspect, who police believe is a man, is reportedly about 6-foot-2. During the robbery he was wearing a black mask, sunglasses, a gray hoodie and jeans.
