Bank Robber Arrested, Taken To Hospital Thursday
After allegedly robbing a KeyBank in N Portland, an unidentified man needed to be taken to hospital for a "pre-existing condition."

PORTLAND, OR — Shortly after allegedly robbing a KeyBank in North Portland Thursday, a male suspect was arrested and immediately taken to hospital for what police described as a "pre-existing condition."
The bank robbery suspect will be identified upon his release from hospital, officials said.
Portland Police Bureau North Precinct officers were dispatched just before 12:30 p.m. May 10 to a robbery at the KeyBank at 6815 N. Lombard St.

KeyBank employees reportedly told officers that a man had come into the bank and demanded money. Police did not say the man used a weapon.
After taking an undisclosed amount of cash, the man left the bank, witnesses said.

Officers searching the area reportedly found the man north of North Lombard Street, on the Peninsula Crossing Trail, and took him into custody.
A K9 team searching the area also found evidence of the robbery, police said.
After his arrest, the man reportedly needed to be taken to hospital for unspecified reasons.
