Broadway Bridge Closure Planned For Wednesday Night
The closure will affect all traffic for up to one hour May 2, according to county transportation officials.

PORTLAND, OR — County transportation officials will close the Broadway Bridge to all traffic Wednesday night while crews work on one of the Rall wheel tracks, county spokesman Mike Pullen said.
The closure will begin after 11:30 p.m. May 2 and could last between 20 and 60 minutes while construction crews "install a shim under one of the tracks that support new Rall wheels that help open the drawbridge for ships to pass," Pullen said.
The Broadway Bridge Rall wheel project began in 2017; this is apparently part of the final stages of work.
