Broadway Bridge Will Close To All Traffic Tonight
To finish work started last week, Multnomah County maintenance crews will need to close Broadway Bridge from Monday night to early Tuesday.
PORTLAND, OR — If your nightly commute typically takes you over the Broadway Bridge, you'll need to plan a detour between 11:30 p.m. Monday and 5 a.m. Tuesday, July 3.
To finish work started last weekend, county crews will need to close the 100-year-old Broadway Bridge to all traffic.
The closure will not affect Portland Streetcar service, Multnomah County Transportation spokesman Mike Pullen said. TriMet's 17-Broadway/Holgate route will use the Steel Bridge as a detour.

The Fremont Bridge is also available as an alternative route for travelers.
