Church Volunteer Stabbed In Northeast Portland, Attacker At Large
A man was volunteering at The Well Community Church in Northeast Portland when he was stabbed. He's expected to survive.

PORTLAND, OR – A man volunteering at a neighborhood church in Northeast Portland was stabbed on Sunday afternoon. The attacker then fled and is still at large.
It happened around 2 p.m. at The Well Community Church at 1734 Northeast 1st Avenue.
The victim then ran to a nearby business at 2nd and Schuyler that called 911.

An ambulance rushed him to a local hospital where's expected to survive.

Police say that the suspect was described as a white or Hispanic male, 20 to 30-years-old, 6'00 to 6'6" tall, wearing all black and armed with a knife.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call assault detectives at 503-823-0479.
