Disabled Woman Found Safe

Marvella Rauda-Nambo, missing since Thursday, was found safe and reunited with her family late Friday, police say.

PORTLAND, OR — A developmentally disabled Portland woman who was missing since a ride service dropped her off for an appointment on Thursday was found and reunited with her family, Portland police said late Friday.

Police said there was no suggestion of foul play in the day-long disappearance of 46-year-old Marvella Rauda-Nambo, but there was some concern she may have gotten lost when she didn't make it to her appointment on May 31.

Marvella, police said, functions at the level of an 8-year-old. Her safe return was announced at 9:30 p.m. June 1.
