Downtown Bank Robbed Tuesday At Knifepoint
The armed robbery suspect escaped afterward. Anyone with information that could help the search is asked to call Portland police.

PORTLAND, OR — An armed bank robber is still on the loose in Portland after holding up a downtown U.S. Bank Tuesday afternoon, according to police officials.
The suspect is described as a white man in his 20s, standing hunched forward at roughly 5-foot-2, with a skinny build and scruffy beard.
According to witnesses, the man came into the U.S. Bank at 410 S.W. Harrison St. just after 2:30 p.m. May 15. Approaching bank employees, the man pulled a knife and demanded money from a teller.

Taking an undisclosed amount of cash, the man reportedly fled the scene and was not located during a search by police.
