Downtown Portland Fatal Crash Friday Is City's First Of The Year
A man was kstruck Friday morning crossing by the intersection of Salmon and Park. He was rushed to the hospital where he died.
PORTLAND, OR – A man crossing by Salmon and Park in downtown Portland Friday morning was rushed to the hospital where he died. It is he first fatal crash investigated this year by the Police Bureau's Major Crash Team.
Police say that it happened around 7 a.m..
The name of the man who was killed and the name of the driver who struck him have not been released.

Police believe that the pedestrian was crossing in an unmarked crosswalk when he was hit.
