"I write you to inform you that my recruited person has hidden a bomb (Tetryl) in the building where your company is conducted," the email says, according to police officials.

"It is assembled under my direction. It is small and it is hidden very carefully."

Police in McMinnville say that "it appears that the author is not a native English speaker, which is seen a lot in mass scams."

The FBI's Portland office says that they are aware of the threats and encourage people to remain vigilant and to promptly report threats to public safety.
